Beatles' Last Song Powered By AI
The Beatles' final song, "Now and Then," which was an unfinished demo recorded in the 1970s, is being released as a fully produced song for the first time, thanks to machine-assisted learning technology used by WingNut Films. The same technology was used by Peter Jackson to de-mix and isolate all of the Beatles' speaking voices in old footage for his 2021 Disney Plus docuseries, "The Beatles: Get Back." The song will be released along with a 12-minute documentary about its production, titled "Now and Then - The Last Beatles Song," directed by Oliver Murray. The song will be available to stream and download, and will also be released as a double A-side vinyl single with the Beatles' first song, "Love Me Do," in seven-inch and 12-inch variations. The release of the song and documentary is scheduled for November 2nd and November 1st, respectively, with the music video debuting on November 3rd. Read more…

Amazon just rolled out a new feature called "Explore with Alexa," enabling children to engage in kid-friendly conversations with Alexa, all powered by safe and controlled generative AI technology. The Alexa Kids science team has curated a fun and secure experience, focusing solely on enjoyable facts and trivia questions suitable for children. For now, content is sourced from two trusted partners, the World Wildlife Fund and A-Z animals.
To activate the AI-generated content, kids can use specific phrases like "Alexa, let’s explore animals" or "Alexa, tell me an animal fact." Alexa can also interact with the kids by asking them trivia questions, fostering an engaging two-way experience. This feature is available on any device set to kids mode or any shared family device with kids' voice ID set up by the parents.
